How Would You Like It?
The idea of Feed Library is to allow you to have your own library for your users, employees, members or whatever your constituents are. Consistent with that we offer a variety of options in terms of hosting, licensing and cost.
At a high level there are a 2 major alternatives (see the Licensing and Pricing page for further details and the full license for detailed legal terms)
- Feed Library On Demand: Your library is hosted on our server. This is the best choice for most customers. You enjoy complete control over the Library, able to grant access to users, change themes, and all other administrative options. This can be up and running in a day or two after your request. We automatically update the software with new features and bug fixes (yes we do have bugs sometimes :).
- Feed Library On Site: The very same software but you supply the server. Feed Library is a PHP/MYSQL application, with a conventional installation. We provide you with the PHP code and the installation instructions, and you then set up the application and configure the database on your own server. This is a little more complicated but should pose no problems for an experienced sysadmin.
Open Source
For non-commercial users we also offer Feed Library as an Open Source package. In this case you receive the same code as the On Site customers, but under an open source license (see the full license for detailed terms.)
Trial Use
We offer a 30 or 60 day trial of our On Demand product. Please review the Licensing and Pricing page for details.
NGO and Academic Use
We offer special pricing for NGOs and Academic customers. Very cheap
