Expert Guides
We’ve asked a bunch of people, experts in their field, to prepare a list of their top favorite feeds in one category or another. We call these our expert Guides. If you are new to the world of feeds and blogs you’ll find this a really great resource for finding all the really wonderful stuff out there, whether it’s about journalism or about cartoons or about lots and lots of other topics.
Also read a long post where we introduced the whole idea of Topic Guides and Topic experts. By the way, we are constantly looking for new experts (do you want to be one?)
What’s a Guide, really?
A Guide is nothing more then a set of Blogs, Feeds, and other content, curated by one of our experts. Technically it corresponds to a bit of so-called OPML. But the important thing to you is that this collection, this list, can be viewed, subscribed to, and read, with our BlogBridge aggregator, but also with many other kinds of aggrators. For example, take a look at our Expert Guide aboutu Food and Wine.
Who are your experts?
We’ve found them in all kinds of organizations, educational and commercial, governmental, and well, unemployed. One way or the other these folks have a passion for something, such that they spend their valuable days searching, drilling, reading, reading, reading. They do this because they love it, and lucky us get a their recommended ‘best of the best’ Feeds, Blogs and other content. Meet our growing list of experts!
I want my own!
You say, “this is a nice collection, but for my purposes I want to build a new, totally different set of guides.” See how you might use a private Feed Library.
