Advanced Twitter Support Coming

Filed under: BlogBridge — Pito Salas on 8:45 pm

Our next release of BlogBridge should be coming out soon. One of the major new features is in the area of our Twitter support. Wait, you didn’t know we support Twitter?

We are working hard to make BlogBridge the ultimate social media cockpit. Many of our customers monitor their social media impact by watching what is going on in the blogosphere, in the main stream media, on twitter and on Facebook. (Or they have interns doing it for them. ) And then when they want to join the conversation, they spin up yet another tool to actually be heard.

Our view is that it needn’t be that hard. BlogBridge is morphing into a unified tool that allows you to follow all your social media streams and instantly respond to one or more of them, with minimal effort and maximal efficiency.

One step in that direction is our new integrated support for Twitter, for Twitter Lists as well as augmented viewing of tweets. Just check it out yourself:

BlogBridge Greatest Hits (cool commands)

Filed under: BlogBridge — Pito Salas on 7:25 am

Cleanup wizard

Use the Cleanup Wizard to surgically clean up BlogBridge. The interface makes it clear: you can delete articles older than a certain age,  or just so a certain feed does not have more than a certain number of articles, while protecting if you want, unread and pinned articles. You can delete whole feeds that you have not looked at in a while or that have been dead for a while. There are actually even more options to allow you to easily control what BlogBridge keeps and what it throws out. Check the Cleanup Wizard command in the BlogBridge Tools menu and let us know what you think!
